FIREBLOCK BATTERY SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

The FIREBLOCK Battery Suppression System is a specialised fire protection solution designed for lithium-ion battery installations, including EV batteries, energy storage systems, data centres, and industrial battery banks. The system uses advanced detection technology to identify overheating cells and early signs of thermal runaway before a fire spreads. Once activated, it releases a specially formulated Fireblock Lithium gel directly onto the affected battery area, delivering rapid cooling and flame suppression while helping to prevent reignition.

Unlike traditional fire extinguishing systems, the FIREBLOCK solution focuses on both flame knockdown and temperature reduction, which are critical when dealing with lithium battery fires. The system can operate as a passive or intelligent monitored solution, with temperature sensors, thermocouples, and automated controls providing real-time battery monitoring. Its biodegradable and non-toxic suppression gel also helps reduce environmental impact while offering effective protection for high-risk battery environments.
